About the hotel

What is Good Hotel all about?

First and foremost, every Good Hotel is designed for a great night’s sleep. And every time you stay with us, you’re doing good. We’re a social impact business, where profits are donated to educating children in Guatemala and retraining locals in the UK affected by unemployment to allow them to step into careers in hospitality. A stay at Good Hotel is a good deed done, as every time a guest stays at a Good Hotel, they help others in the community reach their full potential.

Where is Good Hotel located?

We are a floating hotel, located on the Royal Victoria dock right next to the IFS cable Cars that connect to the O2 Arena and a 5 minute stroll from the ExCeL Exhibition Centre.

What’s the nearest station?

The closest stations are Royal Victoria (DLR) and Custom House (Elizabeth Line). From Custom House, it’s a 10-minute walk along the dockside.

How do I get to central London from the hotel?

The quickest and most direct route to central London is via the Elizabeth line from Custom House station, which is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

How do I get to the ExCeL Centre?

The ExCel centre is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Simply head east along the dockside, and you’ll reach the venue in no time. You can ask our reception team to guide you.

Do you offer parking?

Complimentary accessible parking is available for Blue Badge holders, offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that we do not offer general guest parking.  However, paid parking is available nearby at ExCeL London (just a short walk away). We recommend using ExCeL car park (Weast Entrance) for the most convenient access.

Is smoking allowed?

No. We are a non-smoking hotel. There is a designated outdoor smoking area on the dockside near the bridge.

 

Rooms & Amenities

What types of rooms do you offer?

We offer a range of compact, minimalist rooms designed for a restful stay. Each features large windows, premium bedding, and all essentials for work or rest.

What amenities are included in the rooms?

All rooms include a private workspace, cubby storage, hanging area, blowdryer, safe, hot water kettle, and in-room tea and coffee.

Do the rooms have fridges or microwaves?

Our rooms do not have a fridge. If you need to store any essential items, please feel free to contact our reception. We will be happy to assist you.

Do the rooms have safes?

Yes, every guest room includes a safe for storing your valuables.

Do the rooms have TVs?

No, in line with our minimalist concept, we do not include TVs in guest rooms.

Is there WiFi?

High-speed, free WiFi can be accessed anywhere in our hotels.

Can I view a room before booking?

You are very welcome to arrange a viewing before booking. Please contact our Reservations team on [email protected] to schedule a suitable time.

 

Reservations & Arrival

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Yes, changes or cancellations depend on your booking policy. For assistance, contact [email protected].

What time is check in and check out?

Check-in any time after 3:00 pm, check-out any time before 11:00 am.

We do offer early check-in and late check-out, subject to availability and for an additional fee. Get in touch with the team, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Do you offer luggage storage?

Yes, you’re welcome to store your luggage with us on the day of arrival or departure. We do not store luggage overnight outside those times.

What other services are available?

Luggage storage, Dry cleaning services, Ironing room, Meeting and events spaces, Taxi and limousine services.

Can I receive mail or parcels during my stay?

We accept mail or packages for guests during their stay and a few days prior to arrival date. Please ensure that the name on the package matches the name on your reservation.

Why hasn’t my deposit been returned yet?

When you check in, we place a temporary pre-authorisation on your card, not an actual charge.

If no additional charges during checkout are made, this hold is released automatically after check-out. Depending on your bank, it may take a few working days to disappear from your account.

Food & Drink

Is there a restaurant on-site?

Yes. Our Living Room Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. 

Buffet Breakfast: Mon - Sat | 07:00 – 10:30 Sun | 07:30 – 11:00

All day sharing menu: Mon - Sun | 12:00 – 22:00

Bar: Mon - Sun 12:00 – 23:00

How do I book a table?

You can reserve a table by contacting our reception or dining team directly at the hotel or visit tableo.com

Do you offer room service?

No, but our restaurant is on the ground floor and serves food and drinks all day long.

Do you have a rooftop terrace?

Yes. Our Rooftop Terrace is open all summer long but is subject to availability, weather dependent and seasonal.  Mon - Fri 14:00 - 21:00, Sat - Sun 12:00-21:00 

We recommend checking availability before arrival.

 

Meetings & Events

Can I host a meeting or event at Good Hotel?

Yes. We offer fully equipped spaces ranging from 8-person boardrooms to rooms that hold up to 70 guests in theater style. Our meeting rooms [The Blue Room, Sky Blue Room, and Pink Room] feature flexible layouts, bold colors, and waterfront views.

What’s included with each meeting room rental?

All rooms include high-speed Wi-Fi, AV equipment, flipcharts, notepads, and sustainable food and beverage packages, ranging from coffee breaks to full-service meals.

Can you accommodate private receptions or events?

Yes. From networking mixers to cocktail parties, we host private and semi-private events for up to 120 guests. The Roof, The Globe, and The Living Room are ideal for receptions and group dinners.

Can I book a space for community or wellness events?

Definitely. Our bright, modular rooms are perfect for creative workshops, yoga classes, offsites, and community meetups.

Is the Rooftop Terrace available for events?

Yes. The rooftop bar and terrace can be hired exclusively or semi-privately during the summer months. It offers panoramic views of the Docklands, the O2, and the London skyline.
